EPIC MFG Product Warranty: 1-Year Limited Warranty
Thank you for choosing EPIC MFG products — where we make parts so damn good, even your significant other will be impressed. By purchasing our gear, you're not just supporting a small company; you’re keeping the Ginger fully stocked with unlimited tacos, caffeine, and a never-ending supply of questionable memes.
Now, let’s talk about the fine print. We stand behind our products with a one (1) year limited warranty that covers any defects in manufacturing or materials — because we’d never let something faulty roll off the line. If something goes wrong during normal use (like air dropping your Jeep out of the back of a Hercules AC130 to the desert below), we’ve got you covered. Just don’t forget this warranty is for the original purchaser only, starting from the date you made your epic purchase.
However, if you decide to get creative with your Jeep (we’re looking at you, DIY projects), our warranty doesn’t cover damage caused by “experimental” use, accidents, unauthorized mods, or general wear and tear. Keep it Epic, but maybe save the “mad scientist” moments for someone else’s ride.
Oh, and just a heads-up—if we fix or replace your product, the original warranty doesn’t get a reboot. Sorry, but we’re not adding extra time for you to find new and creative ways to break it. That said, we still want to hear your feedback — because even if your gear has a few bumps and bruises, we’re always looking to make it better.
EPIC MFG Product Warranty Exception: Everywhere outside Canada and the USA
For folks living in Australia, Asia, Europe, South Africa or anywhere outside Canada/USA, EPIC will provide warrantable product replacements at no cost, however, the end user will be responsible for the costs associated with cross-continent shipping, which can get pricey.
Third-Party Product Warranty
For third-party goods included within our product bundles, such as items from ARB or Baja Designs, please refer to the item’s original manufacturer for further information on the warranty coverage, warranty claims, and expert product support.

FAQ – Kraken Tire Inflation System:
Unfortunately, we do not currently have a provision for this in the works. In our experience, we do not recommend running air locker control solenoids off of any compressor air system that is installed or mounted inside the cabin of the vehicle due to the ingress of gear oil into the air circuits and the unpleasant smell associated. We highly recommend that you consider investing in a small on-board air compressor, such as the ARB #CKSA12 12V Air Activation System Compressor, that is dedicated to control your air-activated traction devices.
You can certainly add an air pressure gauge inline of the Kraken air plumbing, however, you will need to source the appropriate components to do so as we currently do not have a provision for this. Our Kraken Pressure Control Upgrade Kit add-on may be of interest to you, as it provides digital control of tire pressure and an automated shut-off once the system reaches its target pressure. Please see the product page on our website for more information on this upgrade kit.
We would recommend that you consider re-installing TPMS sensors into your vehicle to take advantage of the various safety and tire life longevity advantages such as the low tire pressure warning system and the ease of general monitoring of tire pressures for even tire wear. Our Kraken Pressure Control Upgrade Kit add-on may be of interest to you, as it provides digital control of tire pressure and an automated shut-off once the system reaches its target pressure. Please see the product page on our website for more information on this upgrade kit.
The Kraken System is compatible with right-hand-drive vehicles found in export markets, however, the power wiring harness included with the ARB #CKMTA12 Twin Air Compressor may need to be extended to reach the battery, as it is located on the opposite side of the vehicle compared to our North American models.
You can absolutely deflate your tires with the Kraken System, however, we would strongly recommend against it, as it will take considerably longer that other dedicated deflation tools on the market. We have been using Trailhead Tire Deflators (Made in the USA) for many years no without a single hiccup. If you are interested in the Trailhead deflators, please see our website for more information on their product and to purchase a set for yourself.
Absolutely, you can connect just one side of your Kraken System at a time with the installation of the provided small red end plug into the opposite side of the system to prevent air from leaking out. You can also quickly dissemble one of the individual blue hose whips from the Y-Connector, if you wish to use a for a single 8ft hose, by pressing the tubing release collar and remove the tube.
Unfortunately, the ARB Twin Air Compressor and our Kraken System are not intended to run air tools or air blow guns, due to the lack of an onboard air tank to store the large amount of compressed air required to run high-demand air tools. You may be able to source the adapters and fittings necessary to attach an air tool, per our catch-all summary below, but I think that you may be disappointed in the performance. Perhaps there is a cordless electric tool that would be more convenient for your use.
Yes, you can absolutely bypass the air compressor ON/OFF power switch, in favour of a powered auxiliary switch if you would prefer. Our kit includes a fused plug & play power switch wiring harness that can be modified and connected to your auxiliary switch of choice.
We’ve chosen to support the ARB #CKMTA12 Twin Air Compressor exclusively due to its built-in cooling fan which allows for continuous operation. Our chosen mounting location places the intake of the compressor cooling fan directly in line with the rear passenger air conditioning duct, providing clean and cool air to mitigate these concerns during those smoking hot summer days. Mounting an air compressor in the cramped space under the hood of these vehicles would introduce significantly more heat, moisture, and dirt exposure – all of which are not good for the longevity of the internals moving around inside of the air compressor.
The ARB Compressor Connect app must be configured appropriately for automatic tire inflation upon system startup, including the Power On Mode configured to “Pressure Control,” which will automatically inflate your tires to the last desired Target Pressure configured in the app each time that you turn the system on. Please consult our written Kraken Pressure Control Upgrade Kit Installation Guide for more information on the exact ARB Compressor Connect app settings configuration.
