What is this Upgrade Kit?

This is an upgrade kit for owners of our original EPIC Kraken Tire Inflation Systems sold from March 2022 through June 2025. The original Kraken Systems did not include a protective kick plate for the intake air filters, attached to the rear of the twin air compressor, which have been prone to being kicked by flailing feet.

Laser-cut out of the finest aluminum alloy money can buy, then coated in a silky smooth black anodizing, this Protection Plate will perfectly match your existing mounting brackets.

The Protection Plate gets mounted between your existing air compressor and Kraken Air Compressor Mounting Bracket using the original compressor mounting hardware. This upgrade kit is compatible with all Kraken System configurations and generations, including those with manual or power seats - with or without the Kraken Pressure Control Upgrade Kit.
