PLEASE NOTE: You as the installer will be responsible for sourcing the ARB #0830001 Pressure Control System. This kit does not include the ARB Pressure Control System - available directly from ARB USA here: https://store.arbusa.com/pressure-control-0830001/
At this time, the ARB Pressure Control System is not compatible with the new ARB #CKBLTA12 Brushless Twin Air Compressor, due to highly restrictive air passages inside of the ARB Pressure Regulator Manifold Block, causing diminished performance. We are looking into alternative solutions for those with the new brushless compressors. Stay tuned.
What is this add-on?
This Kraken System upgrade kit provides you with all of the hardware necessary to integrate the ARB #0830001 Pressure Control System into your Kraken Tire Inflation System, allowing for tire pressure monitoring and automatic shut-off of your Kraken System at your desired PSI. Use your smartphone to configure tire pressure presets for speedy tire inflation at the end of a long day on the trail. This add-on will give you more time to stare into the rearview mirror and admire your own beautiful face.
So you’ve already released the EPIC Kraken Tire Inflation System upon your Jeep and thought the user experience couldn’t get any better? Well... you would be wrong.
We are thrilled to introduce the Kraken Pressure Control Upgrade Kit, allowing for automated inflation of all four tires to your desired tire pressure, with several other adjustable parameters and terrain presets configurable via an app on your smartphone. This means a faster, automatic and more accurate air-up experience at the end of a long day on the trail – now that’s seriously EPIC!
Our industry-best Kraken Tire Inflation System for the Jeep JL/JT required a reputable and comprehensive pressure monitoring and control solution to remain reliable and easy to use. Utilizing the the ARB LYNX Pressure Control System, we have created an integrated solution for your existing Kraken. Through a simple (free) app download, all features and settings are accessible on your iOS or Android smartphone.
The Kraken ARB Pressure Control System Installation Kit includes everything required to upgrade your existing Kraken system (or new Kraken installation) with automated tire pressure regulation, except for the ARB Pressure Control System components themselves - sold separately.
Upgrade Kit Contents:
- Crimp terminals to piggyback off of your existing Kraken Power Switch Wiring harness to power the ARB Bluetooth Module (PCM) - the above video shows a separate wiring harness, which has been replaced with a pair of piggyback terminals, as described in the updated installation guide below - apologies for any confusion.
- All necessary fittings & tubing to connect the ARB Pressure Regulator Manifold Block to your Kraken Air Compressor Mounting Plate.
- Cable ties to secure wiring.
Other Details:
- Your smartphone is required for the initial setup of the system. This is where you will set your desired tire pressure presets and configure other system settings.
- Your smartphone connects to the ARB module over bluetooth.
- You do not need tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS) in your wheels to use this system.
Installation of the Kraken Pressure Control Upgrade Kit on both existing and new installations is easy, with very basic hand-tools required to successfully complete installation. Please see the installation guide below to get an overview of what is involved.
